Simple place with decent coffee, great breakfast sandwiches and good coffee. They have "cronuts" which are like a donut but with the texture of a croissant. A little less sweet than a regular donut. I prefer them significantly to donuts. My go to though is a breakfast sandwich on a cheese and jalapeño bagel.

I absolutely adore the donuts here and they are all freshly baked and top notch quality. It's also the best cronut bites I have ever eaten and prices are quite nice and reasonable as opposed to most places in the bay.

Came here after a yoga class. It's your classic donut shop with great prices. I got myself a chocolate glaze donut with sprinkles -- soft and delicious. They were also accommodating to letting me use my own take out container instead of using their paper bag. (Personally trying to reduce waste) Always appreciate shops that let their customers be more eco friendly :) Please note there is a +.50 charge if using card for under $10 purchases

Stopped by Happy Donut on our way out of Millbrae. I read the rave reviews and saw photos of the cronuts and had to get some for the road. The nice lady behind the counter greeted me upon entering and gave me a few minutes to decide. Happy Donut is a small hole-in-the-wall type biz. I didn't want to get a lot since we already had plenty of road trip snacks, so I only got one glazed cronut and some donut holes to go. My son and I tried them a few hours later, closer to our destination. The donuts were delicious. Light, soft, and not too sweet. Totally worth the the hype!

Truly a happy place. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a woman who talked to me (and every customer who entered behind me) as if I were her favorite niece and she was happy to see me this morning. I came in for 2 cronuts and 2 coffees and stuck to that plan despite there being soooo many other great options that spoke to my senses. There are 4 Cronut flavors: maple, glazed, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate. I ordered a glazed and regular coffee for hubby and a chocolate and Vietnamese iced coffee for me. And two cinnamon sugar Cronut holes for us to try The cronuts are extremely tall so I had to bite it in layers--two bites to get a full "bite" in. We both liked the Cronut holes best. The Vietnamese coffee is good and packs a punch. It's like a Cuban coffee extended with milk and placed on ice. I might prefer the Cronut better when fresh out of the oven (or grease or however they cook it). I was surprised that there was no sweetness inside. I guess I was expecting it to be like a sweet croissant. Anyhoo, this place got so many customers in the 20 mins or so we sat in the parking lot. It's clearly popular and the breakfast sandwiches look good!

Served by sweetest lady at the counter. Donuts, mini cronuts, cronuts and coffee. I came for the famous Cronuts. Cronut pre filled with cream Fluffy inside while flaky crisp outside Cream is not too sweet. If you purchased 6 cronuts, you will get to fill with jam, custard or cream. Parking lot and best to avoid the morning rush. Tiny store with 3-4 ppl max standing inside.

There is always a line at this donut shop and that's because it is so delicious. Light and fluffy raised donuts. Moist cake donuts (best in the Bay Area in my opinion). As well as a variety of hot breakfast sandwiches. Don't forget your cup of coffee.

We stopped for a couple breakfast croissant sandwiches on our way out. They make cronuts, so for sure I would think they can make breakfast croissant sandwiches. Which are my absolute fav! They have a small variety of breakfast croissants and bagels, made to order. We got a Ham, egg and cheese croissant and a Bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Both were delicious! The melty cheese made it perfect! We also grabbed some juice and a chocolate covered cronut. We saved it for a sweet treat to have later. I haven't had one in forever! It didn't disappoint and we should've bought a few more! It tastes better than it looks! Not overly sweet, it was perfectly fluffy and flaky. Not greasy or dense at all! Small store, clean and organized. Plenty of parking. The staff was nice and quick. Definitely support this small local business! Looking for that perfect cronut, come here!

I think the donuts are happy but the lady behind the counter for sure wasn't happy. Plenty of donuts to choose from and they have cronuts as well. The jelly donut was pretty good, stuffed with lot of raspberry jelly and the glazed old fashioned was nice and crumbly without being too dense. The prices are a little above average. $10 minimum for cards Big parking lot
